Facelets has proven to be the most effective way to develop ICEfaces applications, and a good set of Facelet-based application templates provides the superstructure to effectively organize and manage your ICEfaces development project.
Application Templates provide you with a solid starting point for a wide range of ICEfaces-based applications. Start with an existing application template, or quickly modify one to meet your needs. These templates have been packaged for various IDEs so you can begin working with them immediately in your development environment of choice.

Project Builder
The ICEfaces Facelets Project Builder is a simple utility that allows you to build a Facelets-based Project Template customized to your project specification. It will produce a standard ant-based build environment for the application, or a self-contained project ready to import into your IDE.
The Project Builder allows you to configure a project to your specific requirements and then builds a customized project template based on that specification. The basic application template is modeled after the ICEfaces Composite Component Showcase, but produces a customized application skeleton.
