when I use a data table from VWP the instructions tell me to select the table then right click and choose table layout and then I can select from my list of data providers like objectarraydataprovider.

When I use a ice data table I do the same except the list does not inlcude my objectarraydataproviders it only includes some datatablemodel entries.

How to I tie those to my list data?

Thanks

Hello,

This is a bit off topic, and feel free to PM me or move this as needed, but If you have a second to walk me though HOW to set up a project in in NB 5.5 VWP with iceFaces support. I cannot get even a clean project to compile.

It seems likely that I have missed something simple, but others seem to be struggling with this as well; I have followed all of the documentation I can get my hands on, and likewise all I can get from the forum. I am using JBoss 4.0.4GA in javaEE 1.4

Thanks

Hopefully you installed both the IDE suppport and the comp lib.

If you have after you create a new visual web project highlight
the project node in the project window and right click the project.
This brings up a window with a choice of enable icefaces. Select
that. This make the correct entries in the faces config and web
xml and brings in the correct libraries. Thats pretty much
all I do but I am using the sun server.

Hi Raider

Currently, there is not an option in the context menu for Netbeans VWP. I open an jira under

http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-1318

work around would be manually edit jsp page as well as the reference.

thanks,
Frank
