Hello,

Netbeans just released their Visual Web Pack.
Previously known as Visual Studio from Sun.
But now on Netbeans 5.5 with full JEE5/EJB3 support.

Will the visual plugin for Visual Web Pack be available in the upcomming version 1.1?

Kind regards,

Hi Mark,

No, we haven't had a chance to look at this yet, and we're just on the verge of releasing our 1.1 release, so support for that won't be included. We'll start to look at this right after 1.1 though.

Thanks,
Philip

Now that the NetBeans-5.5 Visual Web Pack (VWP) has gone final, any estimates as to when the NetBeans ICEfaces integration plugin will get VWP design-time support?

An early access version may be available sometime later in January. We're currently working on it.

Hi I'm interested in getting my hands on a beta version of the IceFaces module for Netbeans VWP. Is there a programme I could sign up to to get my hands on this before January and do some testing?

Yours Hopefully, Andrew

Cool. Thanks for the reply Philip. Where should I sign up to get a notice when this is available?
