Hello,

I'm currently using Icefaces to generate reports and charts. The problem I'm having is that Icefaces controls which x-axis labels to render (using some algorithm to make the chart more aesthetically pleasing, I would assume). What would be great is if the API would allow me to force the rendering of specific label values. (E.g. Suppose I'm showing currency values over time and I would like to add text to some labels, like "GM files for bankruptcy", thus having a label "2010-03-18 GM files for bankruptcy".)

Granted, may render the x-axis as extremely cluttered, but formatting would then be the responsibility of the developer (which is not a bad thing).

If this is possible, what are the paths to accomplishing this? I've searched the forums and google, but could find little insight.
