Hello,
Happy new year!
I 've try to print a scanned PDF file with both ICE version 4.0.0 beta and version 3.1.0 trial. But it takes so much time to display Print Dialog.
And after displaying Print dialog, it 's much faster to display it again.Do you know why?
Thank you,
Regards,
Minhbt

Hi,
It works well on other machine. I dont know why even i did set java heap size: -Xms256m -Xmx512m. So, this thread is closed.
Many thanks to ICEpdf team!
Minhbt.

Hello,
I have the same problem with version 4.1.0 trial and pro. After some research, it seems to be due to the jdk http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21401159. Jdk 1.4.0 seems to be guilty, but I presume they never solve the problem since it's the same with jdk 1.6.
The workaround seems the use the native printing dialog, but how to do this with icePdf ?

We ported the PrintHelper to 1.4 print services in the 3.0 release as we moved from JDK 1.3 to JDK 1.5 support. To get the native dialog you'll have to rework the PrintHelper example Use the PrinterJob class. Let me know if you need more pointers
