Hello,

I have Netbeans 6.5, up to date.
I installed Icefaces plugin ver 1.8

I created a new Java Web application project
I selected Visual Web Icefaces framework

When the IDE creates the first Page1.jsp page, it does close the page inmediately.

I open the generated page1.jsp and the design view reports "Missing body Element". The jsp file looks fine.

On the navigator view, there is the error "Invalid:[SLR instance:javax.faces.component.UIViewRoot@7d7e86]

Please advise how to fix this problem.

Never Mind,

I discovered that my Netbeans got corrupted I because I was not able to open even a web application based on Woodstock.

I do not know how it happened.

I deleted the .netbeans folder under "Documents and Settings"(Windows-XP), reinstalled Netbeans and Icefaces 1.8 and everything is working fine.

please note that missing body element does not mean anything, other than an exception in the back-ground.

If you have any problem, please attach log under
USER_HOME/.netbeans/6.5/var/log/messages.log

Please uninstall ireport, it has conflicts. ireport could run as stand alone without nb.
